10 Craft Ideas To Do With Bubble Guppies Coloring Pages

Bubble Guppies are appealing to kids of all ages.

If your child enjoys coloring these cute, happy characters, here are some great crafts to do with the finished pages.

1. Make Stick Puppets

Bubble Guppies are the perfect size to make stick puppets, and all you need are small craft sticks and some colorful pipe cleaners.

Have the youngsters glue the finished pages to thin cardboard and cut out all their favorite characters.

Glue the popsicle sticks to the back of the cutouts, and then wrap a pipe cleaner in a matching color around the entire length of the stick, leaving an extra inch at the bottom.

The youngsters can put their fingers into the pipe cleaner spirals for funny stick puppets to play with anywhere!

2. 3D Fold-Up Art

To make this sensational craft, fold a piece of poster board in half so that one end is lying flat on a desk or table with the other end straight up.

The bottom can be decorated with those famous tiny goldfish and some blue glitter to look like water.

Cotton balls should be glued to the “back wall” of the poster board, and cutouts from the coloring pages should be attached to the cotton balls with krazy glue.

The youngsters can fold it closed, and when it’s reopened, the cotton balls will make it appear as if the Bubble Guppies are floating in midair!

3. One-of-a-Kind Hanging Ornament

For this surprisingly easy craft, turn an ordinary white paper plate upside down and color it blue with craft paint.

Use a hole punch to make holes around the plate’s circumference, adding one hole in the center.

When multiple Bubble Guppies are colored and cut out, staple a piece of string to each one and thread them through the holes.

Make a knot at the end of a bright piece of yarn, and pull it through the hole in the plate’s center to hang this adorable ornament wherever you choose.

4. Make a Unique Centerpiece

To make this cute centerpiece, cut a fringe around a paper plate, turn it upside down, and decorate it with blue glitter, craft gems, or blue pom-poms.

Next, have your youngster cut out three or four characters from the finished Bubble Guppies coloring pages and glue them to a circle made from blue construction paper.

Make a slit in the paper plate in the shape of a semicircle and fold the blue construction paper in a gentle curve. Push it down into the slit for a delightful centerpiece.

5. Funny Bubble Guppies Eggs

This craft begins with 6-12 ordinary plastic eggs like those used in kids’ Easter baskets.

When Bubble Guppies characters are colored, they should be cut out with their heads and bodies separate.

Have the child make “holders” for the eggs by gluing simple strips of cardboard into circles.

Glue the characters’ bodies to the egg holders and the heads to the actual egg. It’s hilarious when the egg is lifted from the holder and the two parts separate!

6. Bubble Guppies Happy Birthday

Bubble Guppies are perfect for making a fun and colorful Happy Birthday sign.

Have your youngster trace and cut out letters to spell Happy Birthday from bright construction paper and glue them to a piece of poster board.

The child can then add Bubble Guppies cut from the finished coloring pages to decorate the blank spaces around the letters.

Add a border of pom-poms and some gold or silver glitter for an original birthday party sign.

7. Decorate an Aquarium

If your child has an aquarium, fish bowl, or terrarium, nothing is better than Bubble Guppies characters to decorate it with.

Ensure the glass is clean and dry, and use rubber cement or invisible glue to attach Bubble Guppies characters cut from the finished pages.

Seal the work with contact paper or acrylic spray, and it will last for a long time!

8. A Colorful Bedroom Decoration

Youngsters who have Bubble Guppies-themed bedrooms will love this colorful addition to their decor.

Start by having the youngster cut circles in various colors and sizes from ordinary construction paper.

When 5-7 Bubble Guppies characters are finished and cut out, punch a hole through both the top and the bottom of each one.

The cutouts should then be strung together vertically with colorful embroidery thread. Hang this cute ornament anywhere.

9. Underwater Scene

Bubble Guppies live underwater, so why not let your youngster create his or her own underwater scene?

Start with a blue or green piece of poster board and have the child decorate it with tiny craft shells, blue sequins, and pipe cleaners for seaweed.

Then, when Bubble Guppies are colored and cut out, they can be added to the scene wherever the child desires.

Preserve the artwork in glassine or contact paper and display it on a wall.

10. A Cameo Craft

If your youngster has a favorite Bubble Guppies character, this cameo craft is perfect.

Have the youngster draw and cut out a simple picture frame, gluing one cotton ball to each of the four corners.

Then, attach the cotton balls to a piece of construction paper of the same size so that there is some space between the “frame” and the paper.

Once the character is cut out, a small piece of rolled-up paper should be attached to its back and used to glue the cutout inside the frame for adorable cameo artwork.
