Mysterious Mysterons
There’s a TV show from the 60’s called Captain Scarlet and the Mysteron, in which Mars has been colonized by an alien race from another galaxy. This race, the Mysteron, have the ability to transform matter and therefore heal or replicate living material. Instead of using these powers for good, the Mysteron are evil and attempt to take over Earth.
