Wise as an Owl
In the movie “The Secret of NIMH”, there’s an old owl referred to as The Great Owl, and he was wise and conveyed advice to Mrs. Brisby. In many children’s stories, owls are mysterious and regarded with awe. Even in Greek mythology, Athene knighted the Owl because she was so impressed with him, and made him her favorite among her feathered creatures.
