10 Uses For Printable September 2024 Calendars

Here are 10 exciting and creative ways that you can use any of the above calendars!

10. Back-To-School Organizers

If your kids – whether you’re a teacher or a parent – go back to school after Labor Day, adjusting to the change in schedule can be rough.

With my September 2024 calendars, you can put those kids on the path to success by having them create a monthly overview of their studies.

Older kids can write their schedule in themselves by including any major dates, like first quizzes or tests, or even notes about each course.

For younger kids, the teacher can write out the first month’s schedule – what topics you’ll be covering each day, the dates of quizzes and tests, etc.

9. Labor Day Organizers

Labor Day celebrates the hard work and hard-won benefits that labor unions have wrought in American society.

The day has become synonymous with picnics, parades, and festivals, and to keep track of all the activities for the weekend, you could use my calendars to plot out everything.

Say you have a local football game on Friday, two picnics on Saturday, a BBQ at your neighbor’s on Sunday, and a Labor Day parade on Monday.

It’ll be much easier to get the whole family on the same page if they can visualize all the events!

8. 9/11 Planners

September 11, 2001, was perhaps the worst day in American history, with nearly 3,000 lives lost.

The day is akin to a national day of mourning, with ceremonies taking place at the site of the World Trade Center, Shanksville, PA, and other locations.

You can plan out your observance of the day – like if you’re heading to NYC or Shanksville, PA, for the ceremonies – using my September calendar.

Mark down the dates and times of your flight or drive, where you’ll be staying, and the time of the commemorative ceremonies.

7. Rosh Hashanah And Yom Kippur Planners

Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year, a 10-day observance that culminates with Yom Kippur.

Write down how you plan on observing the holy days, whether it’s through prayer service or the large meal the afternoon before Yom Kippur.

6. High School, College, Or Pro Football Calendars

September means football is in full swing.

Whether you’re the parent of a student-athlete or simply a super fan of a pro team, keep track of home and away games, plus any other activities, using one of my September calendars.

It can be difficult to keep on top of the many practices, plus early arrival times before games (especially if it’s an away game), so put that info front and center.

My calendars can be filled out and added to, and it should be kept somewhere central, like on your fridge.

5. Fall Garden Planners

September is the perfect month for getting all your fall seedlings into the ground, and if you want to keep track of when you planted what, you can use my calendar for just that.

The calendar can also be helpful if you’re staggering your seedlings (depending on your climate, you could have temps warm enough to support growth through December).

4. Apple Picking Calendars

Particularly the end of September is when apple picking season ramps up, so to keep track of which orchards you want to visit and when by using one of my calendars.

This can also be especially helpful if you can’t decide which orchard you want to visit but you don’t want to forget your options.

3. National Preparedness Month Planners

September is National Preparedness Month, and to “celebrate,” you could use one of my calendars to stagger throughout the month small acts of preparedness.

This could range from devoting one Saturday to making a supply kit in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.

Or another to making a family plan, including safety for any pets you might have.

You might also plan to spend one weekend gathering what you need for car safety kits, including jumper cables, a blanket, bottled water, and a first aid kit.

2. Habit Tracker

Back to school – or the end of summer – can be a great time to set yourself up for breaking or forming a habit.

Whether that habit is taking a daily walk, only drinking one can of soda per day, or doing something kind for someone anonymously, you can create a visual proof of your success.

Mark off each day as you meet your goal, and feel the swell of pride and accomplishment as you gaze upon your calendar and all the X marks you accumulate.

1. Birthday Tracker

September is a very popular month for birthdays – the most popular, as it happens (think about which holidays fall nine months before).

You can use one of my calendars to keep track of every September baby in your life, including their birthday.
