Bohdi Tree

2016-01-25

I didn't get time this Sunday to sit down and color, so I actually colored this one today. This is an original mandala drawn by one of the artists that's contributing to the newer version of this site that I'm working on. (Shhh, it's a secret.)It also reminds me of Deer Park, which is one I colored a few weeks ago, by the same artist.

(Update: You can download a printable coloring page for this mandala now.)

One of the things I really like about this mandala is that I only used a few colors. I started off with two shades of green to do what I believed to be leaves and stems under the flowers. Then I used orange and yellow to create a nice contrast for the flowers. The pink and blue I added were really an extra touch just to vary the colors a bit, although I was tempted to continue using the orange and yellow.

Paper: Regular ol' printer paper.
