10 Craft Ideas To Do With Baseball Coloring Pages

The popularity of baseball will never die, and youngsters of all ages enjoy baseball-themed coloring pages.

Here are 10 inexpensive, fun, and imaginative ways to put them to good use.

1. Star Player

Begin this exciting craft with a large piece of white poster board and have your child color a large yellow star.

Next, from several coloring pages, two bats and one baseball should be colored and cut from the page.

Place the two bats in a crisscross design over the yellow star and glue them in place, with the ball cutout in the center.

Underneath, your child can write his or her name and “Star Player” in puffy paint for an outstanding poster!

2. Make a Baseball Visor

Any baseball coloring page can be used for this fun craft. Start with an ordinary paper plate, and cut it into a wide, half-moon shape.

Punch a hole on either end and thread a piece of elastic through the holes, using beads at the end to hold the elastic in place.

Cut the coloring page to match the shape of the visor and glue it to the surface with invisible glue, and your youngster will have a terrific baseball-themed visor.

3. Laminate a Baseball

Using the coloring page to laminate a real baseball is much easier than you might think!

If your child has a ball that needs a little pizzazz, have the child cut their finished coloring page into a triangle.

When the glue is placed on the back of the cutout, the corners can be bent around the ball, laminating it with your child’s artwork.

A few coats of acrylic spray will keep it nice for many future games.

4. Make Baseball Coasters

Because of their shape, baseball-themed coasters are fun and easy to make.

The children can make just one, or an entire set, depending on how much he or she wants to color.

When the selected number of baseballs are colored and cut from the pages, give your child inexpensive coasters from any discount store.

The cutouts can be glued to their surface with ordinary craft glue and sealed with contact paper. If used lightly, they will last for many years!

5. Adorable Classroom Ornaments

Give the children some circles of thin cardboard and let them color baseball-themed pages to their heart’s content.

The extra cardboard should be trimmed away when the baseballs are glued to the cardboard circles.

The youngsters can then add wiggle eyes, draw on smiles, and add two arms made from pipe cleaners.

From construction paper, a catcher’s mitt and a hand can be traced, cut out, and stapled to the ends of the pipe cleaners for a human-looking baseball decoration.

6. Make a Baseball Door Sign

When the child has colored and cut out a baseball and a bat, the bat should be positioned horizontally, and a small hole should be punched on both ends for string or yarn.

The baseball should be glued toward the narrow end of the bat, and the child’s name should be printed in puffy paint across the wider end.

Once the yarn is threaded through the holes, it can be hung on the child’s bedroom door and enjoyed.

7. Add Pizzazz to an Old Bat

Baseball coloring pages work great to make decals, and these are perfect for dressing up an old, scuffed baseball bat.

When the child has colored the number of items he or she wants, they should be carefully glued to the bat’s surface like you would use decals.

Several coats of acrylic spray safely seal the artwork, and your child can enjoy a new bat!

8. Impressive Wall Art

Let your child color a baseball and bat and cut them from the page, positioning them in any way desired on a piece of white poster board.

Next, stars should be drawn around the cutouts and filled in with glitter. Then, flames can be drawn with orange and red puffy paint as if they’re coming from the baseball.

This makes it look like it’s rocketing through the sky! Your child will love framing and displaying this unique piece of wall art.

9. Invent a Funny Baseball Cartoon Character

This fun craft is a great classroom activity. When each child is given a baseball coloring page, it’s time to let their imaginations soar.

A face can be added with wiggle eyes and decal lips, or the youngster can draw a freehand face in any style.

The ball can then become a favorite character, an animal, a space martian, or even a completely made-up character that exists only in your child’s mind.

The children’s creations can be strung together for a hilarious classroom banner.

10. I Love Baseball

It’s no secret that children love finger paints, and this craft is perfect for those little hands.

Give each child a gray or white piece of poster board turned horizontally.

When they have colored a baseball and bat or any character from the coloring page, it should be cut out and glued to the left side of the poster.

Next, the children should be given finger paints in their favorite color. This is perfect for making a handprint on the other side of the poster board for a unique piece of artwork.
