10 Craft Ideas To Do With Lionel Messi Coloring Pages

Lionel Messi is a legend; any child who likes soccer will enjoy coloring this famous player.

Here are 10 creative, fun, and cheap craft activities that you can do with the above coloring pages!

1. Create Some Fun Abstract Art

Lionel Messi is famous for jersey numbers 30 and 10, and this fun craft centers around those numbers.

Using colored posterboard, have the youngster trace and cut out a jersey and glue the cutout from the coloring page to its center.

On the back, a giant 10 or 30 can be drawn, or the numbers can be traced and cut from construction paper and affixed with glue.

A hole punched at the top allows the artwork to be hung where both sides are visible.

2. A Birthday Card for a Soccer Fan

If your youngster likes to make homemade cards and one of his or her friends is a Messi fan, this craft is perfect.

Using a piece of plain construction paper folded in half, the youngster should write “Have a Messi Birthday!” with puffy paint.

The Lionel Messi cutout from the coloring page is then glued to the inside of the card.

The youngster can then draw all those messy party treats, such as ice cream, cake, and pudding, to complete the theme!

3. Make Unique Beverage Coasters

This craft is not only popular but super easy to make. Using pages featuring soccer balls and Lionel Messi, the children should color one of each.

These should be trimmed to the size of an ordinary coaster, the latter of which can be bought or made from corkboard.

The soccer ball should be glued to one side and the Lionel Messi cutout to the other. Krazy glue or craft glue works best for this.

Once both sides are sprayed with acrylic sealer, it’s a great decorative coaster!

4. Messi in a Soccer Frame

This unique craft begins with an ordinary paper plate decorated like a soccer ball. Any youngster can easily do this with a simple black marker.

Once the design is complete, a vertical oval should be cut in its center.

When Lionel Messi is colored and cut out, he should be placed behind the oval, turning the soccer ball into a frame.

A piece of contact paper placed behind the cutout will hold it in, and your child will have a unique keepsake.

5. Lionel Messi Notepaper

This is a great craft for keeping score of big games or writing down key moments in soccer.

The cutout from the Lionel Messi coloring page should be glued to the top of a white, rectangular-shaped posterboard.

On the bottom half, the youngsters can use rulers to make lines down the rest of the page, on which to record game scores or the name of their team’s current MVP!

6. Lionel Messi Windsock

For this fun craft, the Lionel Messi coloring page should be laminated to a piece of cardboard of the same size and then folded into a cylinder shape.

Seven or eight colorful streamers should be glued to the bottom, and two holes punched at the top through which to thread a piece of yarn.

This unique windsock can then be hung in a doorway, from a porch roof, or anywhere the child wants.

7. Design a Sports Scrapbook Cover

If your youngster keeps a sports scrapbook and its cover needs a facelift, what could be better than a Lionel Messi coloring page?

There are two ways to do this craft, the simpler of which is to laminate the front and back covers of the scrapbook with colored pages that are left in their entirety.

The child may also choose to get creative and color and cut out several Lionel Messi characters from different pages, using them as decals.

Either way, your child will be happy with the results.

8. Make a Lionel Messi Centerpiece

This unique craft is perfect when done as a group activity or individually.

Let each child color several soccer balls freehand, and when they are cut out, have them staple them to green pipe cleaners.

When the youngsters are finished coloring Lionel, the characters should be cut out, reinforced with cardboard, and extra long craft sticks glued to their backs.

The “soccer ball flowers” and the Lionel Messi cutout should be arranged together in an ordinary vase for an interesting Lionel Messi centerpiece.

9. A Hilarious Decoration

This comical craft requires two coloring pages. One should be a full-length Lionel Messi character, and the other, a full page of his face only.

Both images should be glued to stiff cardboard and cut out. Then, the cutout featuring the head should be glued or stapled to the top of the other cutout.

This combination creates a small body with a giant head, sort of like a one-dimensional version of a bobblehead doll. It’s guaranteed to engender loads of laughs!

10.  A Unique Lionel Messi Poster

This interesting craft begins with the youngsters making a wreath out of paper soccer balls.

These can be drawn on white paper with a black magic marker, glued to cardboard, and cut out.

Once they are arranged in the circle, the wreath should be glued to a green piece of poster board.

When Lionel Messi is colored and cut from the page, he can be placed in the center of the wreath for a unique wall poster.
