Path to Gati

I normally start coloring from the center and go out, mostly so I can keep my colors in order. That might be a little evident here given that I started out with bright and happy colors, and ended up with darker (but still happy!) colors. I like the contrast, actually. It makes the mandala look like one flower on top of another.

I started with colored pencils but ended up using a combination of colored pencils and gel pens. Once I had it colored, I went over the colored pencil sections with a colorless blending marker to make it look a little more smooth.

(Update: You can download a printable coloring page for Path to Gati now.)

I used Prismacolor colored pencils, Sargent metallic gel pens, and a Prismacolor Priemiere colorless blending marker.
