Taos Pueblo
The oldest building in North America is Taos Pueblo in New Mexico. It was constructed around 1450 (AD) and is located near the town of Taos. The buildings in the town are constructed with adobe, a very hard type of clay, and are believed to have been built by a tribe of Pueblo Indians. The closest major city is Santa Fe, which is about 73 miles away by car.
