Ganesha, The Remover of Obstacles
Ganesha is a Hindu diety symbolizing prosperity and is the remover of obstacles. Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati. Parvati, his mother, created him from a mold she made from th earth. He’s represented as a portly human with an elephant head, and he often carries a tusk, a ladle, an axe, a noose, a tray of sweets, and prayer beads.
