10 Uses For Printable May 2026 Calendars

Here are 10 fun and creative ways that you can use any of the above calendars!

10. Mother’s Day Planners

If you go big for Mother’s Day – say, you’re hosting the whole family in celebration of your mom – you’ll want to organize your plans for the day.

You can do that using my May 2026 printout calendars, which gives you the space to write what to do on which day and where.

You can also use the days you’re not writing in anything as note paper, making grocery lists, to-do lists, etc.

Plan a beautiful lunch or dinner, keep track of who is doing and bringing what, and keep your siblings on task as you work together to celebrate Mom!

9. Scrapbooking

May is a beautiful month to get engaged or married or have a baby – or to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary!

If you’re a scrapbooker and any of this resonates with you, you’ll want to commemorate the month, week, or day of (or in) May with a special page.

You can use my May 2026 calendar printout as a background; you could even cut it up into a heart shape or make an origami flower out of it.

8. Meal Planners

If you’re like me, you like saving money and time when it comes to what’s for dinner each night.

So that’s why you could use any of the above printable calendars as meal planners for each week or even the entire month.

Plus, you could use the back of the calendar to write down grocery lists or recipe ideas.

Keep the meal planner somewhere central in your home, like the fridge, so that your entire family can see it (and they might just stop asking you, “What’s for dinner?”).

7. Vacation Planners

May is a popular month for vacationing, especially abroad.

Keep track of when your flights leave, where you’re staying, any mini-excursions on your trip, etc., and you could even make copies to hand out to your entire family.

You could also take some copies of the calendar with you to keep a little vacation journal of what you did, where you ate, and what you saw.

6. Birthday Organizers

May is also a popular month for birthdays, and if you find that you have a bunch coming up – as well as a bunch of parties – you could keep them all straight in your head using my calendars.

Plot out when you’re going to buy gifts and cards, if you need to travel for any of them, the start and end times for the parties, and more.

May is also a big engagement party and baby shower month, so you could also use my calendars to keep track of those celebrations as well.

5. End Of School Planners

The month of May is getting toward the end of the school year for many students.

If you’re the type of parent who gives end-of-school gifts to teachers, you might want to keep track of all that that entails.

You can record shopping, who is getting what, who gets what when, plus any other end-of-school details, like choir programs, awards ceremonies, and even graduation.

4. Memorial Day Planners

Memorial Day is a major holiday in the U.S., and especially if you are a military family, there will be a lot going on the week and weekend of.

Keep track of it all with my May calendars, from solemn wreath-placing ceremonies to picnics and BBQs.

3. Garden Planners

By May, a lot of the U.S. is past the last frost, and you can begin to put seedlings into the ground.

However, in order to continue to be able to reap what they sow, many gardeners choose to stagger their plants by starting some seedlings later.

Keep track of what you’re starting and when and what you’re planting, and when with my May calendars.

You’ll be so well organized and swimming in flowers and veggies come the summer!

2. Mother’s Day Gift Bags

Decorate my May 2026 calendars with flowers or other foliage or your mom’s favorite animal or Disney character, with an emphasis on Mother’s Day, May 14.

Then use this tutorial to make a small gift bag, perfect for jewelry or other little knick-knacks.

1. Cinco de Mayo Party Planners

While it celebrates the victory of the Mexican army over the French army in 1862, Cinco de Mayo has been co-opted by lots of people in the U.S.

If you’re hosting a party for this May 5th celebration, you can use my calendar as a planner for organizing when you’ll need to buy supplies and order food (or grocery shop).

You could even use the back of the page to jot down a guest list, grocery list, to-do list and any stray notes you have about the event, like drink ideas or decorations.
