10 Craft Ideas To Do With Space Jam Coloring Pages
Here are 10 inexpensive, fun, and artistic craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!
10. Tune Squad Posters
To make these Tune Squad posters, you’re going to cut out a circle from cardstock and paint a base layer of yellow.
Then, when that’s dry, you’ll paint on three rings of orange, with the thickest on the outside.
Next, you’ll draw the letters to spell out Tune Squad on dark blue cardstock, cut them out, and then paste them onto the circle.
Then, you’ll choose characters from our Space Jam pictures, color them in, and cut them out.
Arrange them on the circle anywhere you like and paste them down.
Let everything dry, and then hang your creation!
9. Charm Bracelets
You can create cute little Space Jam charm bracelets with our illustrations – in just a few easy steps.
First, you’ll choose the characters you want to use and print them out onto shrink sheets. (To get the proper size, you might want to size the pictures down a bit first.)
Color them in with markers and cut them out, then punch holes where you want the jewelry findings to attach.
Bake per the instructions and let cool. When they’ve cooled to the touch, you can add them to existing charm bracelets or make totally new ones.
8. Stickers
For this craft you will need access to a Cricut or similar machine.
You’re going to pick the illustrations you want to turn into stickers and digitally color them in if you so wish.
Print them out onto the sticker paper of your choice and then feed them into the Cricut using the Print and Cut feature.
The machine will do all the work – once it’s done, you’ll have pretty nifty Space Jam stickers that you can put anywhere!
7. Puppets
Have your kids stage a theatrical performance, mimicking the Space Jam movie or creating their own play.
All they have to do is print out the characters they want to use onto cardstock (this is important because computer paper is too flimsy).
They’ll color in the pictures and then cut out the main figures.
This is great for a paper doll situation, but if you want to make puppets truly, you can glue crafting sticks or wooden dowels to the backs.
6. Pencil Toppers
To make pencil toppers out of our Space Jam pictures, you’re going to pick out and isolate the characters you want to use by copying/pasting them into a word processor document.
You can resize them so that they’ll fit on top of a pencil and print them out.
Near the bottoms of the figures, you’re going to draw in tabs on either side; have your kids color in the characters and then cut out, including the tabs.
Make the tabs hug each other so that they form a circle (which will fit around the pencil), and glue them into place.
Once they’ve dried, you can pop the toppers onto the pencils.
5. Party Decorations
With the updated Space Jam that just came out, a new generation of kids is loving the characters and wanting to use the movie as a theme for their birthday parties.
You can decorate on the cheap by using our Space Jam pictures in a multitude of ways as inexpensive party décor.
For example, you could shrink them down and use them as cupcakes or cake toppers, make table displays out of them, or even turn them into wall hangings.
4. Kids’ Faces Space Jam Craft
To make this craft, you’ll have the kids pick out the Space Jam character they want their faces on.
You’ll print out the page and cut out the character’s face, then have the kids color in the picture.
Paste a picture of the kid’s face from under the page; once the glue has dried, you can paste the entire page onto a piece of construction paper so that it “frames” the picture.
3. Pins
Show your love for Space Jam with some nifty pins; you’ll print out the characters you want to use onto shrink sheets, have your kids color them in with markers, and then cut them out.
Bake per the instructions and once they’ve cooled, you can hot glue pin backs to the cut-outs.
These are perfect ornamentation for jackets, totes, bookbags, or even canvas shoes!
2. Space Jam Name Block Letters
First, you’ll buy the wooden letters to spell out your kid’s name; decorate them however you wish by painting or coloring them in with markers, etc.
Then, you’ll print the Space Jam characters you want to use onto shrink sheets, color them in with markers, and cut them out.
Bake per the instructions and let cool. When they’re ready, you’ll hot glue the characters to the letters.
1. Clock Faces
Get an inexpensive plastic clock and pop off the plastic face covering.
You’re going to print out the picture you want to use onto cardstock and place the face covering over it.
Trace around it – this will tell you how far you have to color and where to cut.
Shade in the picture within the circle and then cut it out.
You’re going to pop out the clock’s innards and replace the boring, plain clock face with your picture.
Put the clock back together, pop on the face covering again, and put in a battery to make sure it still works.
Hang on the wall and admire your new clock!
