10 Craft Ideas To Do With Thanos Coloring Pages
Here are 10 low-cost, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!
10. Temporary Tattoos
To make temporary tattoos out of my super cool Thanos pictures, you will need printable temporary tattoo paper and access to a printer.
You’ll choose the design you want to use, isolate it, edit it if you wish, and then print it out onto the paper.
You can cut the tattoos apart so that applying is easier; to use, simply peel off the adhesive, set the tattoo where you want it to go, and place a damp washcloth over the area for 30 or so seconds.
9. Party Decorations
Avengers characters have been huge for a decade or more, but no big baddie has had quite an effect on the Marvel Universe as Thanos.
Make him the focus of your next party, and use my pictures as inexpensive decorations. He can be turned into cake or cupcake toppers, bunting for your wall or doorway, or food place cards.
8. Perler Bead Magnets
You’re going to pick a simple Thanos picture and place the pegboard over it. Using the picture as your guide, fill in the pegboard with Perler beads until he’s all “colored in.”
Next, you’ll take a piece of parchment paper and hold it over the Perler beads while you iron the top.
You don’t want the Perler beads to melt completely; they’re done when the little dots at the top disappear.
Wait for the Perler beads to cool and hot glue magnets to the form.
It would also make great keychains!
7. Gemstone Infinity Gauntlets
You can turn Thanos’ infinity gauntlet a little blingy with some faux gemstones.
You’ll print out the picture and have your kids color it in – except for the infinity stones.
Then, they’ll pick out the correct colors, sequence them in the correct order, and paste them onto the gauntlet.
6. Masks
When your kids are done playing heroes, they can also play the part of the villain – and what a great villain Thanos is.
You’re going to find a picture of Thanos where his face is clear and full; you’ll probably have to resize it to fit your kid’s face.
Print that off and have your child color it in and cut it out.
They’ll poke holes on either side of the mask and tie off pieces of string through the holes, long enough so that they can meet behind their head and be tied into a bow.
And that’s it! You can also print the mask out onto cardstock for extra durability.
5. Play Figurines
Surely Thanos is worthy of his own action figure? When making play figurines at home, you can’t forget such a villain as this.
You’re going to print him out onto cardstock, have your kids color him in, and cut him out.
It’s that simple; the cardstock is heavier than computer paper, so it should stand up to play a bit better.
4. Journal/Notebook Covers
No need to scour the internet for journals or notebooks featuring Thanos on the cover – you can make your own!
You’ll just need a journal/notebook with a plain cover. You’re going to print out the Thanos figure(s) you want to use, color him in, and cut him out, as well as any props or background.
Then you’ll Mod Podge the cut-outs to the cover and let dry.
3. Cell Phone Case Decorations
Again, you’ll choose which Thanos pictures you want to feature, print them out, color them in, and cut them out.
Get a clear phone case and Mod Podge the cut-out(s) to the inside of the case.
You’ll want to make sure you really get a good seal on the cut-outs so that they don’t peel off with use.
Wait for the Mod Podge to dry fully before snapping your phone into place.
2. Gift Bag Embellishments
For the Thanos fan in your life, surprise them with a little DIY gift bag for their next present!
You can get really creative with it, cutting out multiple characters, backdrops, etc., or even drawing and coloring in your own background.
Don’t forget to finish off the look with purple and black tissue paper and ribbon!
1. Findable Rocks
Brighten some comic book fans’ day by making findable rocks featuring Thanos.
You’ll resize the characters in my illustrations to fit the rocks you have, print them out, color them in – with marker is best – and cut them out.
Then you’re going to Mod Podge the cut-outs to the smooth-topped rocks and let them dry.
Once they’re ready, you can leave them in all sorts of different places – trails, parks, outside of businesses, or even just around your neighborhood!
