10 Craft Ideas To Do With Aristocats Coloring Pages

Here are 10 inexpensive, thrilling, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Puzzles

My Aristocats pictures are super adorable, and they would make really cute little puzzles that are perfect as a classroom or party activity.

To make, print out several pictures onto white cardstock and have the kids color them in.

Then, they’re going to take black Sharpies and draw over the pictures roughly, puzzle-like shapes (they can be bigger if the kids are younger and smaller if the kids are older).

Cut them out along the lines they drew, mix up the pieces for each individual puzzle, and then they can put their own together or swap with their seat neighbors.

9. Charm Necklaces

My Aristocats pictures featuring Duchess, Thomas, Berlioz, Marie, and Toulouse deserve to be more than seen – they deserve to be worn!

So you’re going to print out the characters you want to use onto shrink sheets and then have your kids color them in with markers.

Cut them out and punch holes where you want the charm to attach to the necklace. Bake per the instructions and let cool.

Once they’re ready, you add them to your necklace (or bracelet or anklet) with pliers and O-rings, plus add any other embellishments you like – faux gemstones, pearls, etc.

8. Masks

You can turn my Aristocats pictures into cute masks in just a few steps.

First, you’ll find the character you want to use and pick a picture of them where their face is prominent and mostly facing forward.

Isolate it using cut and paste and paste it into a word processor document, then resize it so that it will fit your kid.

Print that out and have your kid color it in and cut it out; poke holes on either side of the mask and tie off pieces of string so you can tie the other ends into a bow behind your kid’s head.

7. Valentines

There is so much love in my Aristocats pictures – you just have to share it on Valentine’s Day!

You can make a Valentine’s Day picture or resize the illustration of your choice to be more card-like.

Color it in and add little touches, like small bows, glitter, sequins, etc.

6. Pins

To make pins out of my Aristocat pictures, you’ll need shrink sheets, pin-backs, and a hot glue gun.

Print out the characters you want to use onto the shrink sheets, color them in with marker, and cut them out.

You’re going to bake them and then let them cool. Once they can be handled, you’ll fire up your hot glue gun and attach the pin backs.

Don’t use the pins too quickly – you want to let the glue set first.

5. Fluffy Aristocats Crafts

This is a cute craft that’s perfect for kindergarteners and preschoolers.

Pick out a picture of Duchess or Marie and have your kids dip cotton balls into glue, then put them (glue-side down) on the illustration until they have filled in the outline of the kitty.

They can then color in the rest of the picture!

4. Party Invitations

Whether you’re having an Aristocats-themed party or a Parisian-themed shindig, my Aristocats pictures can be used as invites that no one will fail to RSVP to.

You can simply keep the entire picture at its original size and add the party information (flyer-style), or you can resize the illustration to take up half or a fourth of the page.

3. Hair Accessories

You can turn my Aristocat illustrations into fun and cute hair accessories of all kinds, including barrettes, headbands, and pins.

You’ll just isolate the characters you want to use and print them out onto shrink sheets.

Have your kids color them in with markers, cut them out, and bake.

When they’re cool to the touch, you can hot glue them onto plain plastic hair accessories, along with ribbon or lace, or at the center of bows.

2. Parisian Collage

Because Aristocats takes place in Paris, there are lots of references to the city in my illustrations.

You can use these backdrops as part of a Parisian collage, with or without the cats (but how adorable with them!).

1. Wooden Word Embellishments

For this craft, you will need wooden letters that spell out a name, a place, or perhaps an inspirational word or phrase.

You can paint those however you see fit.

Then, you’re going to print out the Aristocat characters of your choice onto cardstock. Color them in and cut them out.

Next, you’ll Mod Podge the cut-outs to the letter in an artful manner – perhaps a sitting cat near the bottom of one letter and a cute kitten near the top of another?

Add ribbons, lace, faux gemstones, or whatever you like to make the letters really pop.

Then, display it on a table or countertop.
