10 Craft Ideas To Do With Charmander Coloring Pages
Charmander is that loveable Pokemon sidekick and the craft ideas are endless.
Try some of these fun activities to use up those finished coloring pages.
1. Make a Charmander Suncatcher
Charmander is the perfect color for a suncatcher, and this craft is easy for any age child.
On an old CD or DVD that no one wants anymore, place a layer of invisible glue and add red and orange confetti to its surface.
Place a thin layer of invisible glue on top of the confetti layer, and attach the cutout from the Charmander coloring page.
To make it even better, decorate both sides. When hung up, it will catch the light beautifully.
2. Secret Message
To make this fun Charmander craft, choose a page that prominently features Charmander’s fiery tail.
When the page is colored, it should be cut out, and the end of the tail should be traced onto a piece of orange or yellow construction paper.
The traced piece should be cut out and placed over the end of the tail with a paper fastener.
The youngster can write a secret message on the tail, and when the extra paper is slid to one side, the message will appear.
3. A Comical Puffy Charmander
This fun craft is surprisingly easy but requires two identical Charmander pages. These should be colored, cut out, and glued back to back, with a layer of cotton in between.
Both sides should be decorated with tufts of red and orange tissue paper, wiggle eyes, and red glitter on the tips of their tails.
Punch a small hole in the top, and hang this adorable Charmander in a doorway or window.
4. Tossing Fireballs
Charmander is famous for his fire tail, so why not turn it into a game?
Using finished coloring pages, laminate a large empty coffee can, decorate it with orange pom-poms, and add a red backboard on one side.
Give the youngsters a “fireball,” which can simply be a wad of red or orange tissue paper or a stress ball in a fiery color.
Have them see how many times they can land the fireball in the Charmander can.
5. Charmander Finger Two-Puppet
All children like puppets, and finger puppets are especially fun. To make an easy puppet for two fingers, choose any Charmander page with simple lines.
Color two identical pages, cut them out, and place Krazy glue around the edges.
Decorate the puppet with oversized wiggle eyes and add a tuft of red tissue paper to Charmander’s tail. The simple puppet can be enjoyed for a long time.
6. Make a Charmander Paperweight
To make this cute craft, have the youngster choose a medium-sized rock and spray paint it red. Add a layer of glitter and seal it with acrylic spray.
Next, when the coloring page is finished, Charmander should be carefully cut out and glued to the other side of the rock.
This side should also be sealed with a coat of acrylic spray. This fun paperweight can be a gift for mom or dad, or the youngster can keep it on a desk or bureau.
7. Charmander Desktop Organizer
To make this unique organizer, cut an empty paper towel roll down to about two-thirds.
Glue it in the middle of two empty toilet paper rolls, and spray paint them orange.
When Charmander is colored and cut out, he should be glued to the surface of the cardboard, carefully molding him around the curves.
Now your youngster has an adorable Charmander desktop organizer for pens, pencils, crayons, and markers.
8. Spin the Charmander Wheel
Start this enjoyable craft by cutting a large circle from a red poster board.
Write different messages or the names of various prizes around the circle, depending on what type of game you’d like to play with the finished craft.
Color and cut out Charmander, and attach the cutout to the circle with a paper fastener.
It should be attached loosely so that Charmander can spin freely. Once he is spun, whatever his tail is pointing to when he stops determines the prize or the next step in the game.
9. Charmander Party Favors
Not many characters are as perfect for party favor bags as Charmander.
Start with ordinary, plain party bags, and decorate them with red and orange pom-poms in a row around the top of the bag.
Color two separate Charmander pages and cut the characters out. Then, using a very small amount of invisible glue, glue one to each side of the bag.
Stuff it with red and orange tissue paper, pulling tufts out of the top to look like flames, and you have original keepsake party favor bags!
10. Laminate a Skateboard
If your child has a skateboard that needs some pizzazz, why not decorate it with a Charmander coloring page?
Print several pages, and once the Charmander characters are colored and cut out, they can be added to the skateboard decal style.
Make sure to add a few generous coats of acrylic spray to seal the artwork in, and your youngster has a whole new skateboard.
