10 Craft Ideas to do With Pusheen Coloring Pages
Pusheen is one of the most adorable cats ever created, and it’s not surprising that children everywhere like to color this cute creature.
Here are 10 affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!
1. Make a Hilarious Pusheen Donut
This craft is loads of fun and looks amazingly real when it’s finished. Start with ordinary packing paper, crunching it up like a log.
Bend it and put the ends together to create one of Pusheen’s favorite treats.
Color and cut out two Pusheen faces and glue one to either side of the donut.
Use puffy paint and confetti to decorate the donut, placing a red pom-pom on the side as the “jelly” for a hilarious desk ornament.
2. Design a Pusheen Necklace
This easy-to-make craft can be done with ribbon and yarn, or you can invest in a craft chain.
Have your kids color his or her favorite Pusheen character and glue it too thick cardboard. It should then be cut out and laminated with acrylic spray.
A small hole should be punched in the top to hang the necklace at an angle; the hole can be placed in one of Pusheen’s ears.
Once the yarn or chain is threaded through, you have an adorable necklace.
3. Create a Designer Pusheen Desk Organizer
Begin this simple craft by taking a piece of stiff cardboard and folding it at a right angle so that one part sits on the desk and the other is standing up straight as a backdrop.
The Pusheen page can then be trimmed to the size of the backdrop section and glued fast.
Laminate three clean soup cans with other Pusheen coloring pages, and Krazy glue them to the cardboard base.
They can be used to store pencils, paper clips, or anything else your youngster might have on his or her desk!
4. Make a Pusheen Serving Tray
Everyone knows Pusheen likes treats, so why not use a coloring page to make a serving tray? Pusheen, in his curled-up position, is perfect for this craft.
Using an ordinary serving tray from a discount store, color and cut Pusheen from the page, and glue the cutout to the surface of the tray with invisible glue.
Decorate the inner edges of the tray to give Pusheen a border. This can be done with puffy paint or magic markers, and the finished design should be sealed with acrylic spray!
5. Make a Hilarious Pusheen Accordion
For this entertaining craft, cut a piece of construction paper in half vertically and then folded into a tight accordion.
The Pusheen character should be colored and laminated to thin cardboard, and the cutout glued to the front of the “accordion.”
Next, give each child two gray pom poms and two black pom poms, which can be glued together as a tail and attached to the other end of the craft.
When stretched apart, the effect is hilarious.
6. Snack Time
For this adorable craft, have the children trace and cut out a triangle and decorate it like a piece of pizza.
Next, have them color their Pusheen characters, laminate them to stiff cardboard, and cut them out.
A popsicle stick can be attached to the back of the cutout with a cotton ball and Krazy glue so that the cutout can be propped up.
Then, have the kids glue the piece of pizza to Pusheen’s paws for an adorable desktop ornament!
7. Pusheen Easter Egg
Let’s face it, Pusheen is the perfect shape for an Easter egg decoration, and this craft is fun for children of any age!
Give each child a large plastic Easter egg to be embellished with stickers, markers, or craft paint.
When their Pusheen characters are colored, they should be carefully cut from the page and halved.
Next, the cutouts should be glued to the egg so that when it’s put together, the Pusheen character is there in its entirety. Candy or secret treasures can then be stored inside the egg.
8. Flying Pusheen
Have the youngsters cut out their Pusheen characters after they’ve been colored, and glue them to a poster board background.
Next, three Pusheen shapes should be traced, cut out from construction paper in various shades, and glued to the top of the poster board above Pusheen.
Finally, three strands of the bright ribbon should be glued to the poster to connect the Pusheen-shaped balloons to one of Pusheen’s paws.
This makes it look as if the cat is being pulled along by the balloons!
9. Pusheen Theatre Box
The super easy craft starts with transparent craft plastic, folded into an upside-down “U.”
The two bottom edges should be pushed down into a small square of foam to create a base.
Several Pusheen characters should be colored and cut out, and a toothpick should be attached to their backs with tape.
The characters should then be slid into the clear tunnel, and the toothpicks pushed down into the foam for an adorable Pusheen theater.
10. Pin the Tail on Pusheen
If your child is having a party, he or she can make a fun version of pin the tail on the donkey.
Once a Pusheen page is colored, the cat should be cut out and glued to a large poster board.
A ribbon can be used for the “tail,” and the youngsters can play the classic game with Pusheen.
For extra fun, add other characters along the sides and assign each one a certain number of consolation points.
